Synopsis

After inadvertently shattering the seal that held the Dark Elf King, lumberjack Soren gains three wishes. In his final moments, Soren binds the Elf King with a marriage contract: for six years, the king must shield Soren's granddaughter and her realm. Raised to revere light, the princess abhors darkness. She interprets the Elf King's quiet guardianship as shameful reliance and spurns him at every turn, unaware that his unseen efforts are all that keep her kingdom from ruin. As enemy forces gather and the contract is reduced to ash, she is forced to confront the man she cast aside, the one who stood as the last barrier against annihilation.
