Synopsis
Emilia is caught in a family crisis when her mother’s affair with their boss, Henry Spencer, becomes impossible to ignore. Her sick sister needs saving, yet Emilia is warned to stay away from Henry’s son, Baron Vicious Spencer. That warning becomes harder to follow when she witnesses Henry abusing his own son and sees the pain beneath the billionaire heir’s guarded image.
Years later, Vicious returns to Emilia’s life with a job offer that could help keep her afloat. The position places them back in each other’s orbit, where old hurt, buried attraction, and unanswered questions collide. Vicious carries the damage of his past, while Emilia must decide whether helping him—and trusting him—could reopen the wounds that once drove her away.
