Synopsis

Seraph has always been cherished by her family, and her 28th birthday is meant to be a celebration with her three guardian angels. Instead, the day becomes a nightmare when Rico rapes and murders her younger sister, Lila. The tragedy tears apart the life Seraph thought she knew and forces her to confront a world far harsher than the one that protected her.

The courtroom brings an even deeper betrayal. Seraph's husband, Kane, and her best friend, Ethan, stand up for Rico as they argue his case before the judge. Seraph must face the people closest to her while seeking justice for Lila, weighing loyalty against morality and love against the need for retribution. Her grief and anger set the stage for a painful struggle involving marriage, betrayal, and consequences that may arrive too late.
