Synopsis

Kieran has defeated the Abyss Behemoth and is sent back to Avalon by his masters with a deadline: before his twenty-fifth birthday he must consummate his marriage to his fated bride, or the Abyss power within him will destroy the Realm. Dressed as a peasant, he seeks out Bryony, the childhood sweetheart he believes is destined for him. She rejects him in favor of a cruel count's heir and throws the legendary Dragon Ring to the floor, leaving him humiliated and mocked while he conceals his true strength.

Princess Elowen, proud and watchful, begins to take notice of him, and the Dragon Ring starts to glow in her presence. Arena duels, threats from a beast-prince and schemes at court close in as Kieran, despised by those around him, must claim his bride before the curse breaks the Realm apart.
