Synopsis
Adrian, the true-born son of the Ashfords, returns after years away to a household that has no place for him. While the family dotes on Damon, their adopted "perfect son," Adrian endures starvation, false accusations, and beatings. At Damon's birthday celebration, he is poisoned, blamed for the chaos, and beaten until he dies. But he wakes in the past, years before that fatal night.
This time, Adrian refuses to stay. He walks out and uses his knowledge of what is to come to build a business empire. The Ashfords, certain he will fail and crawl back, watch in disbelief as he rises. When they finally learn of the abuse he suffered and the lies Damon told, they beg him to return. But it is too late.
