The Duke's XXL Bride

Synopsis
Maisie, a law graduate worn down by an abusive ex, walks away from that relationship and takes an unusual route to safety: a contract marriage with Duke Alaric, who needs someone to look after his adopted daughter, Bea. The arrangement is meant to be practical, a roof and a role in exchange for care, nothing more.
What begins as a formal bargain slowly turns into something steadier as Maisie finds her footing and Alaric learns to trust her with the child he guards so closely. Her past does not stay quiet, and the question of whether this household can hold becomes the heart of the story. The emotional pull sits in the gap between the deal they signed and the family they are quietly becoming.
