Synopsis
Elodie, a college student, accepts a contract with Dominic, head of the Styx Gang and CEO of Thorne Group, to cover her seriously ill father's medical bills. The arrangement makes her his lover, and over time the two grow closer. But Dominic's betrothed, Vanessa, is consumed by jealousy and pushes the pregnant Elodie down the stairs. Elodie claims she lost the baby, keeps the child secretly, and when Dominic's grandmother pressures him into the arranged family marriage, he stages a harsh breakup while quietly planning to relocate Elodie. Believing the misunderstanding, she leaves.
Nine years later, Elodie is a designer and returns to Dominic's orbit with her son Theo, concealing who the boy's father is. Schemes from former guardian Weston and Vanessa gradually surface, and a kidnapping ordeal followed by DNA confirmation finally settles the long misunderstanding. The two build a complete life together with Theo.
