Synopsis
Because dragons once shielded the elves from orcs, every new Dragon King claims a virgin princess. Lora, the elven king's illegitimate daughter, is forced by her stepmother to replace Princess Bella as the dragon bride. She expects Prince Draven to be the tyrant of legend, but instead he proposes a bargain: bear him an heir, and he will release her mother and give her freedom.
As days pass, Draven is drawn to Lora's gentle nature, and she in turn willingly carries his child. Then the orcs return, leaving Draven gravely wounded. Bella appears, posing as the true princess and poisoning his trust in Lora. Misunderstood and heartbroken, Lora leaves, only to be taken by orcs as leverage. Draven must now risk everything to save her.
