Synopsis

Chels Grena comes back from killing the Blood Lord, but he keeps quiet about being Grand Marshal of a million imperial troops. At a banquet, his fiancée Lina humiliates him and breaks their engagement, and he leaves without a word. Later, an orc warrior disrupts the husband-hunting tournament Lina has arranged and maims his brother. Chels kills the creature with one thrust of his silver dragon spear, and the act starts to pull back the curtain on the status he has concealed.

Imperial decrees then arrive, and Chels's supreme identity becomes known. Lina kneels and weeps, but the war god she cast aside has already turned away. The story follows his hidden command, the misunderstanding that ended their engagement, and the moment of revelation that comes too late for her.
