Synopsis
Julia arrives at her wedding venue with her mother, Suzanne, expecting to marry Zack Wilson. But when Laura misinterprets Suzanne’s comments about bankruptcy, a damaging rumor begins to take shape: York Industries, the company Julia is set to inherit, has supposedly collapsed. The misunderstanding threatens Julia’s wedding before she can even reach the altar.
The rumor soon puts the York family’s standing at risk, despite the claim being untrue. Families once aligned with the Yorks, including the Wilsons and Meyers, turn against them during a wedding and a 70th birthday celebration. As humiliation and hostility mount, Julia and her family must confront the fallout from a story they never started, while trying to defend their name and position.
