Synopsis

Mia, a high-achieving student who needs money, makes an unusual arrangement with Chase, the school’s star quarterback. His calculus problems threaten his place in competition, while Mia wants to get even with her unfaithful ex. She agrees to help him study, provided Chase acts as her boyfriend and follows her carefully priced rules about physical contact.

Their staged romance brings them into constant contact, from tutoring sessions to public displays on campus. Chase’s confident, flashy manner gradually gives way to signs of loneliness, while Mia begins questioning whether their feelings are still part of the deal. As attraction complicates their bargain, misunderstandings and buried truths put pressure on both of them. When the private agreement becomes public, Mia and Chase must confront what their arrangement has really become.
