Synopsis

Ellie Lane returns home after three years in juvenile detention, framed by her own family. Her brother Charlie waits in the rain, but she is distant, having agreed to come back only for her grandparents. The household still sees her as the spoiled heiress, unaware of the abuse she endured behind bars at the direction of the fake daughter who replaced her.

As Ellie tries to rebuild her life, the gulf between her family's assumptions and her reality widens. The veneer of privilege hides deep scars, and the central conflict is whether the truth about her suffering will ever break through their prejudice. The story follows her struggle for justice and identity against those who wronged her.
