Synopsis
Mora Grey trains two spirit beasts at the Beast Tamer Academy, Aiden and Cole, and turns them into its strongest combat pair. Isa Black, the headmaster's jealous daughter, bribes both animals to betray her: they drug Mora with a forbidden potion, drag her to a snowy cliff, and leave her for dead in the mist-covered wasteland below.
Near death, Mora seizes a mysterious man called Draven Thorne, a cursed dragon held in serpentine form. She forces a blood-bound contract on him, tying his life to hers, and he saves her by rebuilding her body with ancient power, at a heavy cost to himself. Back at the academy, where everyone thinks she is gone, Mora enters the arena and speaks a name that was forbidden.
