Synopsis
Sera, eighteen and orphaned, carries the blood of the vanished Silver Moon Clan. To shield her adoptive father, she hides who she is and joins forty-seven maidservants brought to the royal court to bear the king's children. On her first night she learns the king can neither shift nor father an heir, and she turns her command of the ancient Silver Moon language into a bargain that saves her life.
That bargain lifts her from servant to the king's trusted adviser, though not without suspicion. Prince Cass questions who she really is while finding himself pulled toward her. When the Queen Mother uncovers her and condemns her to die, Cass arrives with an army and names her his fated mate, and her sealed bloodline stirs awake.
