Synopsis
Married into New York's Howard family as a substitute for Chloe, Elena spends seven years enduring humiliation alongside her daughter Luna. On Luna's seventh birthday, Elena overhears her husband Alexander admit his love for Chloe and sees that her marriage has only shielded their forbidden romance.
Alexander's favoritism toward Ian leaves Luna neglected, and after a car strikes the girl, he delays her emergency treatment with a fake die, costing Luna her leg. Elena files for divorce and takes Luna to a poor Miami neighborhood, where she begins building the S&L brand while Alexander confronts what he lost. Chloe schemes against her and kidnaps Luna; a rescue follows, and a DNA test exposes a lie Chloe has carried for seven years.
