Synopsis

After lying about her age and disappearing from her online boyfriend, a woman expects an ordinary break at her best friend’s house. Instead, she meets Rhys, her friend’s cold older brother, and realizes he is the man she abandoned online. He identifies her by her voice, forcing her to confront the false details she once shared.

Rhys offers no easy reunion, subjecting her to repeated tests. At a bar, he downs eight drinks while protecting her from a creep who drugged her. Later, trapped in his car, he recites her old claims and asks whether she ever regretted leaving. Suspicion, resentment, and lingering feelings turn their encounter into a tense battle over honesty, trust, and whether their damaged connection can survive.
