Synopsis

Tessa is publicly humiliated when Chase, the boy she likes, rejects her cruelly before their classmates. His insult leaves her feeling unwanted, but it also marks the beginning of a change. Rather than continue chasing someone who treats her badly, Tessa begins rebuilding her confidence and appearance, drawing notice from people who once ignored her.

Chase soon regrets pushing her away and tries to win back her attention. Tessa, however, has formed a connection with Adrian, a masked outsider whom others dismiss because of his scars and quiet presence. As Chase competes for her affection, Tessa must decide whether popularity and old feelings still matter—or whether Adrian sees her more honestly than anyone else. Their growing bond places both romance and reputation under pressure.
