Synopsis
Criminal psychologist Claire takes Kent, a blood-soaked crime lord, for one of her inmates and bluntly tells him what she thinks he lacks. Days later he brings her to his estate out West. There she learns she is the long-lost heiress of a rival Mafia family, already promised to Kent's son. Pulled between duty and desire, Claire begins a secret affair with the father while the son waits for a wedding.
Threats from outside money gather against the Western territory. Claire has to reconcile two feuding families, guard the land they both claim, and decide how far she will go for the power she was born into. Her struggle to grow past what others planned for her runs alongside a romance that could destroy the alliance it is meant to secure.
