Gianna wants nothing to do with the mafia world she was born into, yet she is forced to watch her sister Aria marry the fearsome Luca Vitiello in episode one. When her father raises a hand to strike her, Matteo steps in, a small act that hints at feelings neither side is ready to name.

The marriage she never chose binds her to a ruthless killer who treats her as something to possess. He is her danger and her husband, a man who wants her entirely for himself. As enemies sharing a house, Gianna must decide whether the hatred between them protects her or traps her deeper.
