Synopsis
Elara holds the Moon's Voice: whatever she says comes true. Bound to silence for ten years to protect the world, she endures as her husband Roman is turned against her by Vanessa's lies. Believing Elara betrayed him, Roman takes her hand, her sight, and her family, all to force a blessing from her lips. When her seven-year-old sister's head falls at her feet, Elara shatters her decade-long silence.
But she does not bless him. She curses him: the Lycan King's reign is rotten, and the world will break. Roman's kingdom collapses. Frostmoon defeats him. Vanessa's heir is revealed as a bastard. Roman sets his own hall ablaze so Elara can escape. Ten years on, a new Lycan King unites the packs, forging a strong age without any Moon's Voice.
