Synopsis
In a city where cold kills, Nova Reyes gives up everything to obtain two passes into the last heated tower. Her fiancé takes those passes and abandons her to the freeze. Cole Ashford, the billionaire who governs the city's heat, pulls her out. He then discovers something she does not yet understand: her presence is the only thing that warms him.
Cole proposes a trade. He will save her sick brother if Nova shares his bed each night, skin to skin. He promises he will go no further unless she asks him to. Nova accepts, determined never to ask, and enters a life of guarded nights with a man whose power over the city's warmth is matched by what he keeps hidden. Between debt and pride, her resolve becomes the thing he must break, and the truth about why only she can warm him waits to surface.
