Synopsis
For five years, she stood by her husband's side in a marriage that was never consummated. He paraded a string of mistresses before her and demanded she personally set each situation right. On the night their contract came to an end, she found herself framed and forced into an interrogation chair, the door blown open by a shot. A mercenary knelt before her and addressed her as head of the house, revealing a lineage far beyond her husband's reach.
The central conflict lies in the collision between the life she endured and the identity she kept hidden. As an heiress and socialite, she was never the abandoned wife he took her for. Now the truth begins to surface, and the man who treated her as disposable must confront who she truly is. The story follows her return to power and the reckoning that follows.
