Synopsis

Isabella Caruso works as a primary school teacher and expects an ordinary day when an unexpected visit exposes her husband’s affair. Disgusted by his betrayal, she refuses to remain in the marriage and demands a divorce. Before she can put the painful confrontation behind her, two unknown men seize her, leaving her with no idea who ordered the abduction or what they want.

When Isabella awakens, she is caught in a far more dangerous situation: others believe she is the dead leader of a powerful criminal organization. Forced to assume a role she never sought, she must deal with the underworld while staying out of the reach of the law. At the same time, Isabella begins searching for the truth behind the mistaken identity, the hidden conspiracy, and its unexpected connection to her own past.
