Synopsis

Aurora Pyrelyn dies at the claws of her husband, Rowan, on the day their Soulflame Bond is sealed. She wakes again on that same morning, and Rowan recalls the past as well. He picks her golden sister Celeste for the throne Aurora was promised. Aurora stops pleading for a love driven by ambition. She releases Rowan and turns instead to Silas Frost, the white dragon others mock.

Her father, Celeste, and Rowan all pursue bloodline power. The Old Flame Law then shows that Aurora is not the heir but the one who decides who merits the Throneflame. Betrayed once more, she reclaims her stolen fire, shatters the old bloodline order, and flies free beside the dragon who chose her first.
