Synopsis
Seven years ago, Genesis’s marriage to Kiefer collapsed amid betrayal and tragedy. After discovering that her mob-boss husband had been unfaithful while she was grieving a miscarriage, she turned to the authorities. Her decision sent Kiefer to prison, but it also forced Genesis to flee when a bounty was placed on her. Still pregnant, she disappeared, carrying unanswered questions about her family and the child she lost.
Now Genesis unexpectedly crosses paths with Kiefer again. Fearful that the powerful man she once loved intends to punish her, she resists when he takes her back into his world. Kiefer insists that the past was shaped by a serious misunderstanding and wants to restore their relationship. As old wounds, hidden family truths, and opposing loyalties surface, Genesis must decide whether the man before her is still her enemy—or someone worth trusting again.
