College senior Shelby Yates is drawn into danger after encountering Matteo Franconi, an injured billionaire CEO with a criminal past. Matteo claims Shelby’s intervention saved his life, but his response is far from ordinary: he becomes determined to have her marry him. Shelby must weigh his intense devotion against the violence surrounding him, while Matteo’s ruthless reputation makes trust nearly impossible.
