Synopsis
Olivia's closest friend Madison takes both her husband and her frozen embryo, then displays the resulting pregnancy as a way into the Whitmore fortune. What Madison does not know is that the sample she took was a defective one, marked for destruction rather than for a birth.
While the family waits on the promised heir, Olivia quietly carries the genuine embryo herself and works her way into control of Whitmore Health. The confrontation builds toward Madison's labor, when Olivia comes back with her daughter, DNA evidence, and the means to bring down the people who betrayed her. The story turns on a stolen sample, a secret pregnancy, and a woman who lets her rivals believe they have already won.
