No More Mrs. Nice Wife

Synopsis

Linda once spent ten years in a marriage to rising politician Michael, enduring coldness while she carried the household alone, even after he fell for Jessica, a twenty-seven-year-old club hostess. Her refusal to sign divorce papers ended in illness and a funeral where Michael handed Jessica his wage card and her own son Brian wished for a different mother.

Waking on the very day Michael demands a divorce, Linda hires a lawyer and agrees to the split. Instead of clinging, she secures commercial storefronts in the settlement and sets about rebuilding herself: beauty, fitness, promotions, dating. As Michael and Jessica's union curdles and Brian feels the loss of his real mother, Linda keeps moving toward a life that no longer revolves around the man who celebrated her death.
