Synopsis
Valentina, who is the daughter of a mafia godfather, keeps her background secret to build a life with middle-class Ethan. She supports herself through college while quietly advancing his career, even as Ethan's mother tries to match him with heiress Carlotta.
After four years, Valentina has created her own conglomerate, intending to give it to Ethan. But he returns with Carlotta and their child, humiliating Valentina in public. She decides to retaliate, severing her company's business connections. When his family mocks her outside, her secretary exposes that she is the CEO, and they beg for forgiveness. Later, at the godfather's daughter's birthday banquet, Carlotta's cousin blocks Valentina and joins Ethan's family in jeering. The godfather appears, revealing Valentina's true identity, and Ethan's family pleads for mercy—but the mafia carries out its execution.
