Synopsis
Lila escapes a forced wedding in a small Texas town and shares a single kiss with a stranger before disappearing. Five years later she is raising her daughter Sophia alone and meets billionaire Murphy, who offers her a job as his fake wife. Neither realizes the other is connected to that night, though Murphy is Sophia's father.
Lila must hold her ground as a strong-willed single mother while playing the role of a wife to a man she is only beginning to know. A forged DNA scheme and a confrontation at a farm push the arrangement toward a reckoning, testing whether the pair can move past the deception and build something real as a family.
