Synopsis

Kyle was left to die as a baby because no wolf spirit lived in him. Three Legendary Beasts found him and raised him in the Beast Forest. After eighteen years, he fights better than anyone there and carries a dragon force he never knew he had. He saves Freya, Princess of the Silvermoon Pack, when she is set upon in his woods, then travels with her to Crimson Flame City to search for the family that cast him off.

There he learns that Elina, a slave broken by Alaric, the pack's hypocritical Alpha, gave birth to him. Before they can settle into that reunion, the Thunderclaw Pack strikes. Alaric and Kent, his cowardly heir, give up and hand Freya over, but Kyle calls on his dragon-wolf blood and drives the attackers back. A larger scheme then surfaces, pulling him toward a fight he was born for.
