Synopsis
Sophie has carried feelings for Jesse since childhood, but their twenty-year age difference makes the attraction difficult to acknowledge. As her best friend’s daughter, she has always occupied a complicated place in Jesse’s life, while his behavior suggests he may see her as more than a child. Sophie must reckon with what she wants and whether Jesse can view her differently.
Their connection brings together a student’s longing, an older man’s guarded response, and a power imbalance neither can easily ignore. Jesse’s wealth and commanding presence add pressure to an already forbidden attraction, while Sophie’s determination challenges the boundaries between them. The story centers on whether these hidden feelings can become something openly shared without destroying their existing relationship.
