Synopsis
Arthur works in the royal armory of Albion's palace, a page among many. Only a few know the truth: he is the son of King Uther, who fell on the battlefield after Mordred's betrayal two decades ago. Keeping that identity buried, Arthur has learned magic from Merlin, who tells him that avenging his father requires reaching the Isle of Avalon, entering a tournament of mages, and drawing the sacred sword of kings.
To get there, Arthur travels with Agravain, Mordred's son, swallowing humiliation and hardship along the way. He faces a dragon and rescues Guinevere, all to earn the right to draw the sword. But the road to Avalon is also a contest of sabotage and shifting loyalties, and every step brings him closer to the moment his hidden identity may no longer stay concealed.
