Synopsis
Evadne’s wedding plans collapse in front of the realm when Valerius, the Black Dragon prince, rejects and humiliates her. Her twin sister has taken the sacred power meant to protect Evadne’s future, leaving her branded impure. With her standing destroyed, Evadne makes an unexpected choice: she marries Aurelius, the feared god-king marked by a curse.
The marriage draws Evadne into a struggle involving stolen power, bloodlines, and public shame. A hidden property of her sister’s power allows children conceived through it to be forced into Evadne’s body, turning cruelty against her into an ongoing threat. Yet Evadne possesses a gift of her own: she can purify bloodlines and awaken Titans believed extinct. As those seeking to ruin her press their attack, Evadne’s hidden strength begins to challenge the fate imposed on her.
