Synopsis
Lyra’s family closes ranks around Selene, the adopted daughter and younger sister whose drunken hit-and-run left blood at the Human Territory Border. Because Selene is an Omega and considered too delicate for Silvermoon Penitentiary, Lyra’s Alpha father, Luna mother, and biological younger sister demand that she accept the punishment instead. Lyra refuses, but their plea becomes coercion when her father invokes absolute Alpha Command during a stormy night. He overrides her will and sends her toward the prison transport, leaving her to endure seven years for Selene.
Her separation also threatens the future promised by Kaelen, her fiancé and Fated Mate, who is the Pack’s strongest Alpha. He restrains his Wolf Aura and tells Lyra they will complete the Mate bond after she returns. Between family obedience and personal loyalty, Lyra must face a sentence imposed for someone else while the people closest to her decide what her life is.
