Synopsis

Bryan values his public image more than the wife he has kept out of sight. During an explosion, he abandons Rachel while she is gravely injured, leaving their five-year hidden marriage and the career she sacrificed in ruins. With only a death certificate connecting him to the past, Bryan believes Rachel is gone.

Rachel instead enters Vought’s Aurora Project and endures painful genetic experimentation. She emerges under a completely new identity: Lumina, the first female superhero, while her former self is erased. Bryan must live with the consequences of their broken marriage as betrayal, concealed identities, and unresolved grief shape the conflict. At the heart of the story is Rachel’s transformation from the woman Bryan discarded into someone he can no longer recognize.
