Synopsis

Six years after a masquerade ball brings Madeline together with wealthy heir Nicholas, their brief encounter leaves her with a daughter, Isla. Vivienne, Madeline's half-sister, takes personal keepsakes and uses them to present herself as Nicholas's lover, hoping to claim the wealth and status surrounding him. Madeline must protect her family while carrying the memory of a meeting Nicholas may not remember clearly.

When Madeline later joins Nicholas's group, the past returns to a professional setting where attraction and ambition collide. Their growing connection is challenged by office schemes, threats, and Vivienne's calculated deception. Clues involving a rare hereditary disease and identical birthmarks point toward questions about identity, parentage, and the child's place in this family. As Madeline and Nicholas face pressure surrounding the company, they must determine whether trust can survive secrets that began years earlier.
