Synopsis

Madeline’s relationship collapses when she finds Ryan with her cousin and realizes his interest is tied to her valuable fried-chicken recipe, worth half a billion dollars. Heartbroken, she ends up in the hospital, where she meets Caden, a volunteer nurse. In the aftermath of betrayal and disappointment, an unexpected decision changes the course of her life: she and Caden marry on the spur of the moment.

Madeline believes Caden is simply a hardworking man, unaware that he is connected to a powerful business empire. Caden Wilson Cashmore, a mysterious CEO, has taken on nursing volunteer work to honor his brother’s final wish while looking for the person who received his brother’s heart. As the newlyweds begin life together, Madeline’s assumptions about her husband face questions, while Caden wonders whether his wife may be the person he has been seeking. Their marriage starts with secrets, unresolved betrayal, and identities that may not be what they seem.
