Synopsis
Princess Elena's three brothers trespass into dragon territory and come away cursed. The price of saving them falls on Elena herself: she is handed over to the dragon as a sacrifice. What awaits her is not the death she expects, since the creature treasures her rather than harms her.
When Elena returns home, the family she gave herself up for has changed. Her brothers have taken in a new princess, Lillian, and treat her as one of their own. Lillian works against Elena, framing her and turning her brothers against her. The test comes when Lillian fakes a curse that demands Elena's heart, and her brothers decide to sacrifice her a second time. Elena must then stand against the family she once saved.
