Synopsis
Celestia is drugged and betrayed by her stepsister Mortis, and after a single night with Dragon King Azriel she bears twins. Mortis steals the baby girl Joey and raises the child herself while scheming to have Celestia executed. Celestia escapes to a barren wasteland, where she hides for five years with her son Aion, whose incomplete divine core means he can survive only on his biological father's essence.
To keep Aion alive, Celestia returns to the divine realm. There she crosses paths with Joey, the Dragon King's supposed daughter, and feels an instinctive pull toward the girl. Azriel, sensing a familiarity he cannot explain, brings Celestia and Aion into the dragon palace. The central conflict lies in the hidden truth of Joey's parentage and Mortis's designs on the throne, set against a bond none of them can name.
