Synopsis

Lucas Thorne hides his immense power as a demigod of death behind the rags of a beggar. When he meets a mafia heiress, she offers him a rare gift: acceptance at his lowest. Their bond grows, but Lucas knows that revealing who he truly is could put her in the crosshairs of forces far older and deadlier than any crime family.

As threats close in, Lucas faces an impossible choice. Keeping his secret means watching danger approach unchecked; unveiling his identity might save her, but could also shatter the only genuine connection he has ever known. In a world where power defines worth and trust is a weapon, Lucas must decide whether love is worth the ultimate risk.
