Synopsis

Lorraine is ready to tell Andrew she is pregnant, but he comes home with Lucy, his first love. Lucy's scheming fuels a fight, and Lorraine and Andrew divorce on impulse. Months later, Andrew finds Lorraine's pregnancy report and searches the city for her, but by then she has given birth to twins. She hands their firstborn, Chris, to Andrew and fakes her own death to get away.

Eight years on, Lorraine comes back to the country with her second child, Alex, for work and crosses paths with Andrew again. The twins, Chris and Alex, quietly draw their parents back toward each other, and Lorraine and Andrew start to see how the other has changed.
