Synopsis
Rosy Dolores makes a living as an escort, but her personal search is far more urgent: she is trying to find the daughter who was taken from her at birth. When her client, Tad Williams, proposes, the offer opens a path into an arrangement built on appearances rather than romance. Tad is a billionaire and a single father, raising his daughter, Lily.
As Rosy becomes connected to Tad and Lily, the child's presence brings her search into sharp focus. Lily has a birthmark matching Rosy's, creating a troubling question Rosy cannot ignore: could this be the daughter she lost? The fake engagement now carries emotional stakes beyond its original purpose, while Rosy must balance her need for answers with Tad's family life. The early story centers on identity, hidden parentage, and the possibility that the missing child is closer than she imagined.
