Synopsis

Eight years after their college romance ended, Nora Bennett and Roman Vale meet again in Los Angeles under unequal terms. Roman is an undefeated fighter chasing a title shot, and new league rules require an independent physician's clearance. Nora, now a doctor, is assigned to evaluate him. He has spent years believing she betrayed him, and her signature can decide whether his career moves forward.

Nora carries two secrets: a seven-year-old daughter who is Roman's child, and a knee imaging report he underwent without knowing it reached her medical terminal. As his biggest fight approaches, the woman he resents may be the only one able to keep his career alive, while the truth she holds could change everything between them.
