Synopsis
Adele has grown up without a family, home, or surname, and now survives in Gimora under a crushing debt. Ruthless boss Nino gives her only two days to pay what she owes, while her friend's life is at risk. With no clear way out, her encounter with Cesare Buonaparte offers a possible escape. As the island's powerful duke, he has resources Adele cannot imagine—but his help comes with conditions.
Cesare needs to avoid an arranged marriage and proposes that Adele pose as his missing sister. The arrangement could lift her from poverty and give her friend a chance to survive, yet it places her inside the world of royalty and nobility. Their uneasy partnership is complicated by the duke's infuriating presence and an attraction neither can easily explain. Adele must navigate a false identity, a dangerous deadline, and feelings that challenge the boundaries of their agreement.
