Synopsis
Stevie is a server and a student, and Lexington Hall has become the biggest movie star around. Years after he walked away and left her heartbroken, he comes back with an offer: pretend to be his girlfriend. For Stevie, whose childhood connection to Lexington once felt like the start of something, the proposal is both an old wound reopening and a chance she never expected.
The two fall back into each other's orbit under a lie they both agreed to tell. Old resentment, buried feelings and the pull of a reunion nobody planned keep pushing them past the terms of their arrangement. Stevie has to decide whether this is the Hollywood dream she once imagined, or simply the same heartbreak waiting to happen again.
