Synopsis
Anya is an intern journalist who steps in for her good friend Nancy and unexpectedly spends a night with Michael, a celebrated athlete. Concerned about what that encounter could mean, she chooses silence, while Michael comes away with the wrong understanding of who she is. Their crossed identities create a fragile situation in which Anya must protect her secret as expectations and suspicions grow.
False pregnancy claims, concealed feelings, and deliberate attempts to interfere push the misunderstanding further. Revenge becomes part of the conflict, while Michael and Anya are drawn into a tangle of secrets neither can easily address. As the truth about their identities and hidden motives edges closer to the surface, Anya’s strong will is tested by the consequences of that single night.
