Synopsis
Ella and Leah entered marriage believing their lives with Harper brothers Charles and Noah would become a happy ending. Their friendship has linked them to a firefighter and a doctor, yet the brothers’ past is still close: Charles’s former love, Megan Vance, is pregnant with his child. On their third anniversary, that unresolved history turns dangerous when Megan traps Ella in a burning room.
Ella calls Charles for help, but he chooses to look for Megan’s cat instead. Leah goes into the fire and contacts Noah, hoping his medical skills will protect Ella and her baby, only to face his ridicule. After years of painful marriages and devastating neglect, the two friends reach the same conclusion: they will seek divorces together. But the truth behind the betrayal remains unsettled.
