Synopsis

Elden, the Beast King, carries a lightning curse that destroys any living being he touches. Vera alone can survive contact with him, making her essential to his hope of freedom. When Elden keeps her mother captive and demands marriage, Vera is trapped between anger and the compassion she sees beneath his ruthless behavior. Their bond deepens as he protects and cares for her, but ending the curse carries a deadly cost.

After their wedding night, Vera collapses, and Elden believes she is gone. He spends six years grieving while Vera secretly raises their twins in the human slums. A chance encounter brings Elden close to the family he never knew he had, but Vera cannot easily overlook the deception that brought them together.
