Synopsis

Audrey Lorenzo Bloom has spent years preparing to lead BloomCo as its first female and non-white CEO, even working under an alias as a Latina cleaning lady to learn the company from the inside. On the eve of the banquet meant to introduce her, she learns her fiancé Grady believes she is an illegal alien and intends to defraud and deport her.

At the same time, senior executives are plotting a coup to install her white cousin at the top. And Ryder Marlow, her bitterest enemy since childhood, may not be an enemy after all. Audrey must decide how much of herself to reveal, and to whom, before the people closest to her rewrite her future.
